Step by Step Guide:
Firmly grasp the top and bottom of your new Shower Water Filter Housing and hand tighten clockwise until snug
Unscrew your shower head from the neck with an adjustable wrench
Wrap the threads on the shower neck with 2-3 layers of the supplied plumber's tape
Tip: Wrap the tape firmly clockwise around the fitting, pulling the tape firmly to tear it instead of cutting
Hand screw your Shower Filter Housing onto the shower neck
Tip: The housing attaches counter-clockwise
Tighten the water filter housing firmly with an adjustable wrench
Tip: Do not overtighten to avoid damage
Hand tighten your shower filter head to the Shower Water Filter Housing
Tip: The housing attaches counter-clockwise
Tighten the shower head firmly with an adjustable wrench
Tip: Do not overtighten to avoid damage
Before first use:
Run your shower water for 3 minutes to ensure your filter is fully charged with water and the line and any media loosened during transit has flushed from the system
Water may be slightly cloudy during initial use from air trapped in the filtration core. This will flush during initial usage
