I have a boil water advisory. What should I do?Updated an hour ago

In the event of a boil water advisory, it's important to follow guidelines and boil your drinking water, even if it's been filtered.

If you're using a Hydroviv Under Sink Filter or Fridge/Ice Maker Filter, we recommend replacing your filter once the advisory lifts, especially if you used the system(s) extensively during the advisory period. The presence of additional contaminants and bacteria may decrease the effectiveness of your filter.

However, if you didn't use your Hydroviv filter during the notice period, you're most likely safe to continue to follow your regular refill schedule.

Please note that it's important to err on the side of caution. When in doubt, it's wise to advance your refill schedule and replace your filter sooner rather than later. If you're still unsure how to proceed or would like a second opinion, please reach out to our support team at [email protected].
