The Hydroviv Filtered Showerhead and In-Line Shower Filter 2.0 target chlorine. Our shower filters are independently proven to remove over 93% of chlorine from shower water.

Additionally, Hydroviv shower filters rely on bacteriostatic media (a blend of catalytic carbon and KDF 55) to discourage bacterial growth while the filter isn't in use.

We have not tested the filter's efficacy in reducing chloramine levels. However, third-party results demonstrate that Hydroviv shower filters reduce chloramine levels quite significantly during the first three months of filter life.
