My Under Sink Filter is leaking. What should I do?Updated 13 minutes ago
If you are experiencing a leak, please follow these steps:
- Make sure your cold water valve is turned off, and the sink's cold faucet is on to relieve any pressure in the system.
- Unscrew the filter housing lid and check for the presence and proper placement of rubber o-rings at the top and bottom of the filter cartridge. These rings are necessary to form a tight seal and prevent spillage. Also ensure that the black rubber o-ring is securely seated in the inner rim of the housing.
- After checking and reseating any misplaced o-rings, hand-tighten the lid back onto the housing as securely as possible.
- Use the blue plastic housing wrench that came with your system to further tighten the lid, then loosen it a little and hand-tighten again to form a stronger seal.
This process should help create a more compressed seal and stop leaks.
However, if the leak persists, please contact our Support team via chat or email and we'll troubleshoot with you as soon as possible.
