Do Hydroviv filters remove microplastics?Updated a month ago

Hydroviv drinking water filters can effectively filter particles down to 0.2 microns (0.0002 mm), which includes a majority of microplastics. They pass the leaching test required by water filter companies through IAPMO certification (NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53) and are frequently used as a microplastic filtration measure.

However, for nanoplastics, defined as particles below 1 micron (1000 nanometers), nano-filtration or ultrafiltration may be necessary.
